József Szabadfalvi, Debrecen: The Beginnings of Hungarian Legal Philosophical Thinking

Abstract: This study describes the development of Hungarian legal philosophical thinking from the early 16^th to the late 19^th centuries. It covers the introduction of the most important representatives of and trends in the natural, Kantian and historical schools of law. The efforts in legal theory in this period have played a major role in the process of gaining independence in Hungarian legal and philosophical thinking.
