Anne Volvey: „übergänglichkeit“ : ein
neuer Ansatz für die Epistemologie der Geographie
This paper pursues an
epistemological aim: it focuses on the subject of knowledge, on motives and
methods in fieldwork as well as in its presentation.
It establishes a theoretical and
conceptual framework based on English and French transitional psychoanalysis
(Winnicott, Anzieu and Tisseron). This focus will help to understand the extent
to which geographical knowledge is constituted by the researcher’s
identity and to what extent his/her projections and perspectives have replaced
the object of knowledge.
With this interdisciplinary approach a theoretical frame is composed which allows a new interpretation of fieldwork procedures and their presentation and which constitutes the conditions for the use of epistemology in geography.
