Alfred Reckendrees: Weder Polemik noch Rezension. Anmerkungen zu einem Beitrag von Manfred Rasch im 96. Band der VSWG (2009), S. 27–32

The “polemics” published by Manfred Rasch in the VSWG Vol. 96 is inappropriate and unfair as far as Kim Priemel’s book is concerned. It emphasizes marginal formal mistakes and it intersperses criticism on the book with general comments on German PhD dissertations. As for PhD dissertations in general, the “polemics” that individualizes structural problems is not target oriented. This comment criticizes the form and the argument of the “polemics” and it outlines structural improvements for PhD studies in Germany.
