Renate Wilson is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management of the Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Institute for the History of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University. She received her PhD from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Dr. Wilson is a social and medical historian with a special interest in the linkage between medicine, religious mission and philanthropy at the end of the early modern period.
