Gesundheitskonzepte im Wandel
Gesundheitskonzepte im Wandel
In an era of (un-)limited possibilities our society has developed a plural appreciation of health. Under the influence of medical, demographic and social variation, both the idea of health and disease are subjected to a continuous change. This conference transcript, supplemented by selected articles, looks from different perspectives into the historical conditions and the present appearances of this change and discloses possible consequences. The contributions describe and analyze concisely and in many distinct ways the latest developments concerning the idea of health in regard to the involved sciences: medicine, history, theology, philosophy, jurisprudence, social policy, economics, and ethics.
