Beitraege zur europaeischen Ueberseegeschichte
With the use of such terms as “colonialism” and “globalization”, for some time now there has been vigorous debate on the emergence, manifestations and repercussions of large-scale interdependencies and global exchange processes. Research and debates on this set of issues can build on the established academic traditions of non-European history, the history of European expansion and the history of individual world regions.
The series Beitraege zur Europaeischen Ueberseegeschichte, formerly Beitraege zur Kolonial- und Ueberseegeschichte, provides a forum for relevant research through its publication of monographs and multi-authored volumes dealing with aspects of European colonial history and intercontinental relations. It is open to a variety of methodological approaches as well as to work from neighbouring disciplines of historical scholarship.
