Sylwia Adamczak-Krysztofowicz is professor extraordinarius at the Institute of Applied Linguistics at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland) and the Editor-in-chief for Glottodidactica, an International Journal of Applied Linguistics. She worked also at the universities in Frankfurt/Oder, Darmstadt and Marburg. In the years 2022 until now she has been the Polish leader of the GIP-Project “Kultur- und Sprachreflexivität in der internationalen Lehrer*innenbildung im Fach Deutsch als Fremdsprache”, co-financed by the DAAD. Adamczak-Krysztofowicz is the author of four books and over 100 articles published in scientific monographs, lexicons or professional journals, the editor of seven collective monographs and three issues of the Info DaF journal.

  • Polish Minister’s of Education Prize for outstanding achievements in teaching (2019)
  • The President of Poland’s Silver Medal for long-lasting excellent services (2024)
