About

Olivia Chirobocea-Tudor is Associate Professor at Ovidius University of Constanta (Faculty of Letters). Her main area of research is English for Specific Purposes in the fields of biology, ecology, agriculture, horticulture and other related sciences. She has published several English textbooks for ESP students and numerous articles on topics related to ESP teaching, terminology, and specialized translation.

Chirobocea-Tudor was a member in seven research projects between 2007 and 2025 and has had numerous collaborations with international specialized journals (English for Specific Purposes, Cogent Education, Cogent Arts & Humanities and others) as reviewer or editor. In 2022 she became director of the Centre for Research on Specialized Languages from a Multidisciplinary Perspective within the Faculty of Letters (Ovidius University of Constanta, Romania) where she coordinates teams of researches focused on ESP trends.
