About
Patricia Mindus is Professor in Practical Philosophy at Uppsala University and Research Fellow at Institute of Future Studies in Stockholm, Sweden. She has been visiting or affiliated researcher at several universities, including the University of Turin, LUISS Guido Carli, EUI, and more. Before joining IFFS, Mindus was FIAS fellow at the Paris Institute for Advanced Studies in 2023–24 and Wallenberg Academy Fellow prior to that. Mindus’ research mainly focuses on legal and political theory. Her signature contributions include the functionalist theory of citizenship and the theory of migration as an institutional fact.
