Chiara Lasagni


About

Chiara Lasagni studied Classics at the University of Turin and completed a PhD in Ancient History at the University of Trieste, with a focus on Greek history and epigraphy. She is currently Associate Professor of Greek History at the University of Turin.

Her research explores the political and institutional landscapes of the ancient Greek world, with particular attention to the relationship between ethne and poleis, forms of local political organization, and concepts of citizenship.

Lasagni has worked extensively on the koina and federal states of central and north-western Greece, as well as on Athenian institutions and epigraphic practices.
