Günther Pfund (geb. 1948) studierte Geschichte und Germanistik an der Universität Stuttgart. Nach dem Staatsexamen (1974) unterrichtete er bis 2012 als Gymnasiallehrer in den Fächern Geschichte, Politik, Ethik und Deutsch. Nach seiner Pensionierung schrieb er seine Dissertation an der Universität Stuttgart.
